This hotel in the Financial District’s Wilshire Grand tower—the tallest on the West Coast, thanks to its spire—opened to guests on July 2 2017. It counts with 889 rooms and share the Wilshire Grand with a handful of classy restaurants, a swanky rooftop bar, and more than 350,000 square feet of office space. The InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown occupy the 31st to the 68th floor of the 73-story tower.
The skyscraper at Figueroa and Seventh streets was designed by architecture firm AC Martin, which also designed the InterContinental interiors, including its lobbies and rooftop lounge. For this astonishing hotel, Alarwool produce last year all the carpet for its public spaces. More than 15.000 sqm of carpet in grey and blue tones inspired in the kaleidoscope effect.
