More than 160 years since its 19th century heyday, Hotel Europejski as Raffles in Warsaw opened in 2018 at the heart of Poland’s proud capital city. The hotel is full of references to Warsaw throughout the interior, celebrating the building, its history and its place in the world.
Along with the WWAA team, Alarwool produced all the carpets for the hotel, from the corridors and guestrooms to the public spaces. Special mention deservers the original designs for the guestrooms rugs, with different colour schemes depending on the room type and representing plans of different parts of the city.
Also it’s remarkable the hotel’s corridors, and apparently simple design produced in Axminster with overtufted loop.
